Project Features
- Located on a 26 acre tract, Fairview Marketplace is a retail center anchored by a Super Walmart. It has a total of more than 220,000 sq ft of store footage. Emery Sapp & Sons Inc was the general site contractor performing the mass grading, installation of on-site utilities, storm water systems, parking lots and landscaping.
- Meeting construction schedules was critical for this project. The new Walmart store was replacing and existing store scheduled for demolition and redevelopment. The developer's contract with Walmart required that Fairview Marketplace be completed by October 2006 to allow the Super Walmart to be open for the Christmas shopping season and for demolition of the other store to be done during the winter of 2006.
