Sheila Branison awarded Outstanding Woman in ConstructionNovember 6, 2009 ![]() Springfield, MO - On November 5th, Sheila Branison, foreman for Emery Sapp & Sons, received the Rosebud Award at the 25th Annual Salute to Construction held in Springfield, MO presented by the National Association of Women in Construction. Sheila began 6 years ago working for Kennedy Contractors in an internship program. She advanced steadily first as a laborer, then operator, and now foreman. Sheila supervises a crew of 6 specializing in substation grounding, oil containment, concrete, rebar, utility installation, and water separation systems. Her attention to detail, meeting or exceeding production expectations, and facilitating an excellent relationship with the customers and her co-workers are among her many outstanding traits. |
