Project Features
- The Cascades is a 190 acre residential subdivision with 312 lots located north of State Highway K and along the east side of South Sinclair Road in south Columbia. The development began in 2002 and the last plat was completed in the spring of 2006. As general site contractor for all phases of the Cascades, Emery Sapp & Sons Inc performed all site grading, construction of streets, installation of water, sanitary sewers and storm water systems. In addition to the internal infrastructure, Emery Sapp & Sons Inc also relocated a portion of the exterior street, Sinclair Road and installed a regional pump station and force main sewer line to serve not only the Cascades but other developments in the drainage basin. Emery Sapp & Sons Inc self performed more than 85% of the work involved with the project.
